Dr. Jacob, DVM
Veterinarian & Owner
Dr. Jacob is dedicated to providing thoughtful, comprehensive veterinary care while building lasting relationships with pets and the people who love them.
A Belleville, Illinois native, he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University and completed his clinical training at the University of Missouri in 2008. Before joining Red Bud Veterinary Service in 2019, he practiced for more than eleven years at two local clinics and also served as the veterinarian for Madison County Animal Care and Control.
His professional interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, dermatology, dentistry, and internal medicine. Clients appreciate his attentive, hands-on approach and the time he takes to ensure each pet receives individualized, high-quality care.
Dr. Jacob enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, and their son, Max. Their family also includes Remington the Great Dane, Gus the Boxer, Rosie the Miniature Australian Shepherd, Sparrow the cat, and Daisy the tortoise.

Charlotte
Veterinary Technician (Since 2001)
Charlotte brings decades of experience and a strong commitment to patient comfort and safety in her daily work. She assists with surgery and dental procedures and takes pride in helping pets feel calm, secure, and supported throughout their visits to the clinic.
At home, Charlotte shares life with her dog, three cats, and a flock of sheep. Much of her free time is spent cheering on her four boys at sporting events or helping on the family farm, where she finds joy in country living.

Debbie
Veterinary Technician (Since 1983)
Debbie has devoted her entire career to caring for animals and supporting the families who love them. She has a special passion for wildlife rescue, particularly helping opossums, and values the long-standing relationships she has built with clients and their pets.
She lives with her husband and their dogs, Shadow and Rosie. During her off time, Debbie enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, along with crafting, quilting, and card making, which reflect her thoughtful and caring nature.

Jeanne
Veterinary Technician (Since 2011)
Jeanne’s love for animals began at an early age and led her to work in animal control and at a humane society before joining our clinic. She enjoys radiology, surgery, and dentistry and brings broad experience and steady focus to patient care each day.
Outside work, Jeanne manages a busy hobby farm with horses, mules, a donkey, a cow, goats, chickens, ducks, and turkeys. She shares her home with five dogs and nine cats and treasures time with her grandchildren and family.

Audrey
Veterinary Technician (Since 2011)
Audrey has always had a passion for caring for animals. She became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2011 and has been committed to high-quality veterinary care ever since.
She and her husband have two sons, their dog Colbie, and a small farm with horses and cattle. Outside the office, Audrey enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hiking, horseback riding, and jeeping with her friends and family.

Rachel
Veterinary Technician (Since 2009)
Rachel has been part of our team for over ten years. She first volunteered in seventh grade and went on to build a career caring for animals and the families who love them.
She helps in many areas of the clinic, including reception, technician duties, and kennel care. When she’s not helping patients, Rachel enjoys spending time with friends, jeeping, and playing bunco or card games.

Allyson
Veterinary Technician (Since 2025)
Allyson is passionate about educating pet owners and helping them understand their pet’s health needs. She values clear communication and enjoys supporting families as they make informed decisions.
During her free time, Allyson enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active. She especially loves time with her chocolate Labrador, Abeline, who is a constant companion and brings great joy to her life.

Autumn
Receptionist and Veterinary Technician (Since 2023)
Autumn is committed to providing comfort and attentive care to pets and their owners. At home, she shares life with her German Shepherd mix Baylee and her cats Smokey, Maui, and Chino, and enjoys watching hockey, fishing, day trips, and trying new recipes.

Jo Ann
Receptionist (Since 1985)
Jo Ann is often the first person you will see or speak with at the front desk and has been part of the clinic for nearly 25 years. She is a proud mother and grandmother who values time with her family. In her free time, she enjoys camping at their lake cabin, reading, and going to dances.

Hannah
Veterinary Assistant (Since 2025)
Hannah recently joined the clinic and quickly discovered her passion for veterinary medicine. At home, she shares life with three dogs named Tank, Cookie, and Honey, two cats named Toby and Waffles, and a turtle named Rollie. She enjoys puzzles and spending time on family walks in her free time.
